Welcome Amazing Grace

This will be a very short but special blog post today.   I have just returned from witnessing another miracle.  The miracle of new life never ceases to amaze me.  Just a few hours ago, at 1:17am on 11-11-11 my newest granddaughter entered this world. She has been prayed for so often, as she tried to make an early debut in late September.  I marvel at God’s grace… letting us meet 7 lb. 3 oz. baby Grace.    Psalm 139:13-18
    For you created my inmost being;
        you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
    [14] I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
        your works are wonderful,
        I know that full well.
    [15] My frame was not hidden from you
        when I was made in the secret place.
    When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
        [16] your eyes saw my unformed body.
    All the days ordained for me
        were written in your book
        before one of them came to be.

    [17] How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
        How vast is the sum of them!
    [18] Were I to count them,
        they would outnumber the grains of sand..

    Congrats to Kristen and Gus for their second child. Grace is such a beautiful new born baby. She is a miracle. God has answered their prayers so that Grace will not coming into this world so early. It’s cool that she was born 11/11/11. Congrats to Wyndham and Jeanie for becoming grandparents for their 6th time. I also love that scripture so much.
